M Group Services’ Energy Division proudly supports National Foodbank Week

1st October 2024

As part of M Group Services’ Energy Division, we recently came together to support National Foodbank Week.

Led by our Acknowledging Life Events Group, from our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Network, ENABLE, we set up collection points across several of our offices and depots.

Our Morrison Energy Services’ colleagues in Glasgow donated a large amount of goods to the local foodbank who were extremely grateful for such a big donation. The team also saw the foodbank in action, reminding us of how integral these support groups are to the local community. Another of our Morrison Energy Services’ team collected three boxes for the Broxbourne foodbank.

Our Newcastle Cobalt office, led by Tracey Oxley, Training and Compliance Lead at Morrison Data Services and Joanna Collins, Data Co-Ordinator at Callisto, collected for the Newcastle foodbank, where our collection of tinned items and cupboard goods were gratefully received.

Our Agility Eco colleagues also got involved. Led by Natalie Oldershaw, Customer Service Director, the team collected a large number of hygiene products, alongside some treats, for the Aylesbury foodbank.

Tracey Oxley said: “We have had a fantastic response, and the foodbanks we supported were over the moon to receive our donations. Supporting National Foodbank Week is an important reminder of just some of the ways we can give back to our local community and we hope that by several of our offices taking part, we were able to support foodbanks across the country.”

Our ENABLE Network supports creating an inclusive culture by embracing diversity, taking lived experiences and using them to shape a workplace where everyone is supported and celebrated.

Across M Group Services, we are committed to supporting the communities in which we work in line with our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets.

Back to all.
